Papers of Dr. Otis Hoyt of Hudson, Wis., consisting of routine military correspondence, quartermasters' accounts, and other records connected with Hoyt's positions as surgeon with the 1st Massachusetts Infantry in charge of hospitals at Jalapa, Mexico, in 1847 and 1848, and as surgeon at Camp Randall (Madison, Wis.) and in Kentucky in the Civil War.
